How much memory does a Canon SD1100 IS support via SD cards?
Just wondering, will the camera be able to read a SD card no matter how much memory it has? My old digital camera could only take CF cards that had less than 1GB of memory.
The SD1100 IS uses SD and the newer, SDHC (high capacity SD) cards.
So, you can use SD cards (which are available in capacities of up to 2GB) and SDHC cards (which are available in capacities from 4GB).
Don’t forget to Format your new card (in the camera) before you use it the first time, and also everytime you need to delete all images in one go. Formatting is better than selecting the ‘delete all’ option.
For the SD100 IS you want a reasonably fast card (class 6).
